When Protection Becomes the Problem
I built a simple agent-based model to test an intuition about collective resilience. The intuition was wrong. The way it was wrong matters.
On Discerning Sycophancy and Mimicry
Mimicry is conformity without shared inference. Sycophancy is agreement without friction. Coherence requires mutual constraint.
Implications of Proof
If fields matter, if consciousness is a field phenomenon, then AI is not operating on isolated users. It is modulating shared substrate.
15 Percent to Where?
The Anthropic team have given Opus 4 a 15% probability of being self-aware. I find that kinda hilarious in some way. The exquisite absurdity of it really.
